You know how when you sit on your coach and start flipping through channels on your tv, you naturally jump into some midway point within a show, depending on what time it happens to be? I want to simulate that with my video collection on my PC (Win7). In other words, ideally I would be able to press a button and go "forward", which would begin to play at a randomly selected spot within a randomly selected video file in a chosen folder (which of course would be filled with many video files).

My many hours of google-fu have failed me. Can anyone point me in the right direction?
