I´m trying to reauthor a DVD in order to replace audio languages by going through the usual process: demuxing with
PGCDemux, reauthoring with IfoEdit or Muxman, replacing the main movie in the original DVD with VobBlanker.
After muxing, the chapters are ok, just like the original DVD.
THE PROBLEM: after replacing, the chapters get all messed up.
FACTS
------
The DVD has seamless branching, with two versions of the movie (Theatrical and Unrated), in the same
VTS, in PGC 1 and PGC 2.
I want to keep the unrated version, that is PGC 2.
VobBlanker complains when it opens a DVD like this giving the ILV cells warning.
So, I ran IfoEdit to remove seamless branching, the output DVD remained with two PGCs.
PGCDemux this DVD, and Celltimes showed 38 chapters for 38 cells, where the correct would be 16 chapters for 38 cells, this can be achieved in PGCEdit by choosing Celltimes.txt - output only chapters.
Original DVD Cells/Chapters as showed in VobBlanker in fig. 1.
Remuxing everything would result output showed on fig. 2, Chapters work perfectly like in the
original DVD. But there´s only 16 cells.
In VobBlanker, replacing would result output showed on fig. 3, Chapters are messed up.
Fig. 4 show what´s going on during process in VobBlanker, I think this can clearly outline the problem. It is
replacing 33 cells with remuxed 16 cells and blanking the rest. The result is the chapters go crazy.
Tried to replace in PGCEdit but it´s impossible because of the two titles in the same VTS.
Tried to "Hide All Blocks" for PGC1 in DVDRemake but no success.
Tried to delete the blanked PGC in DVDRemake but it messes up the DVD structure.
I´m going crazy with this. Any ideas will be highly apprecciated.
