i havent been on here in forever, and forgot what a good free video editing program might be? what r people using these day for simple video editing? i just wanna crop off some of the beginning and some of the end to make it shorter BTW its an avi file.. any ideas/ Thank you.

If avidemux says it's broken you will most likely have the same problem with every editing tool... Find out what is wrong with the codecs or file or interleave first..
