Importing AVI audio into DVD file

I have two versions of a movie... one a low resolution AVI version but with a decent English soundtrack... and a DVD version with only a German soundtrack.

I'd like to do a new XVID version using the DVD video and the audio from the other AVI file. Can it be done? If so how?

Assuming the video in both cases is the same length and identical to content:
Run AutoGK.
Step 1 load the DVD video (select VTS_01_0.IFO).
Step 2 de-select the audio.
Step 3 choose 'Target quality'
Add Job and Start.
A new AVI with no audio is output.

Run VirtualDub and drag the new AVI into it.
Click 'Video' > 'Direct stream copy'.
Click 'Audio' > 'Audio from other file' and select the video with the good audio.
Click 'File' > 'Save as AVI'.

Thanks attar... I'll give it a shot. Will Virtual Dub require additional video encoding? Or will I just be inserting the audio into the AVI container?

Because you set 'Video' to 'Direct stream copy', there will be no encoding of the video.
