Need to use MCE remote with VLC player

So I setup my logitech remote as a MCE remote it workss great for PowerDVD and media player but how do I get it to work for VLC? Thats all I want is basicaly play, pause, RW, FF, Thanks Chris. Oh and I'm using the Imon reciver/software the came with the Antec case.
