Okay folks, I recently purchased a Linksys E3000 (n)router, has dual bands. My plan was to connect my external HDD via USB to the router and stream my backed up blu-ray movies to my HP laptop. Unfortunately the video is choppy at best. I'm using Media Player Classic to play the files, I've also used it to play the same files when the external is connected directly to the laptop without any problems. My question has to do with the router, should I have a certain setting for this or is this just an ongoing problem for streaming a ripped blu-ray? I've played with some of the settings, but i don't know enough about routers so it's almost like a shot in the dark. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. FYI, my blu-ray movies have been unaltered, just a complete rip used to play the movie only.
