Very odd behavior on AVI

I have 17, 45 minute programs in AVI . They are in 4:3 . When I played back the first 10, they all defaulted to full screen on my 46 inch wide screen TV, but from number 11 on they did not display fully, but with black bars on each side.
The funny thing is, these are all from the same source and when I loaded a couple of programs into "MediaInfo" to compare the stats, everything looks the same for the ones that played in wide screen and the ones that didn't. Can't figure this out! Below is MediaInfo for an AVI that played in wide screen and for one that didn't. I couldn't find a whole lot of difference between them, maybe you can!
MediaInfo from AVI that played ok in wide screen:

Not sure. Did you try looking at them in Gspot to see if anything is odd
regarding sar ,dar & par?
Do they play the same or different in WMP ?
How are you playing them(upconverting standalone 1080i ) ?

Well I won't be able to answer that now cause I decided to replace the batch I had with new files from a different source. All I can think of is that there had to be some little glitch or charge in the numbers 11-22 than there were in numbers 1-10.
They looked the same playing them back in WMP as much as they did in MPC . I was playing them back on standard Magnavox player at 480p
