Video freezing after WMM burn

Hi everyone. I have a bit of a problem with my WMM. I use DVDFab7 to upload DVD's to my computer, then I convert that DVD with Koyote Free Video Converter (VOB to WMV). Now when I play these files on my WMP everything is fine. No problems whatsoever.

However, once I take those WMV files and upload them to WMM, one of two things happens. Either the video freezes while I am trying to make short segments of the file, or everything goes okay while making the segment, and then when I play it back in WMP it freezes. Either way, it is freezing when it gets to WMM. What happens is the video plays for about 30 seconds, then the video freezes but the audio keeps going for a few seconds more, then the screen just goes black and the audio stops.

I would think it was WMM that was the problem, but on other WMV files I have on my computer, WMM does not freeze if I cut those files into segments, nor does the videos after when I play them in WMP. So this is only happening with files I download from a DVD.

Anyone have any ideas about what's wrong?
