Ok so here goes the problem I seem to be having only started when we got the Virgin Media V+ box installed now on my DVD recorder channel everything is being drawn into the screen I first noticed it with Motors TV there logo seemed to be closer to the top right corner on the screen but when you shut down DVD recorder the logo shifts back to the normal screen placing
At first I thought I was just imagining it but when I was watching classic F1 on BBCi as they are showing old races in the original 4.3 ratio you have large black banner on left and right of the screen but ? On the DVD recorder channel I get full screen picture no black banners and you can clearly see the blue menu button has moved as well.
Anyone got any tips or pointers on why this would happen

Tv is a Panasonic Viera
Dvd recorder a Goodmans
VM box Samsung
