recovered video after a format is very hit and miss.. bad luck.. i giess you could try some recovery software 9majorgeeks and hunt around and try stuff) but if any of the file has been overwritten in the menatime.. which is quite possible.. then it's gone..

have you tried loading it into avidemux ?,, no idea if the doze version supports asf.. the linux one does.
