hey guys i have a lisong design 8gb mp4 player, the problem is that it doesn't play videos, i know it does because it came standard with a video on it but i deleted that video and didn't think to get the format of it first. I've tried an mp4 format video but when i go into videos it says that the disk is empty, i've tried using an avi format video and the player read it but says that the format is unsupported.

If anyone knows please give me a hand.

probably .amv of some kind.. not a codec I'm familiar with...

I hate these proprietary codecs with a vengance.. I have wasted 3 years of my life trying to make working .asf files with audio and video streams reversed.. for a stupid mp4 player..
