My first attempts at copying a YouTube video to a DVD. The video looks fine but the audio sounds noticeably degraded compared to the .wmv file it was made from. It's not unlistenable, but the harmonic and IM distortion are really noticeable (it's a music video). I tried both DVD Flick and ConvertXtoDVD 4 but it sounded exactly the same. I also tried making a DVD from a .flv version of the file without converting it to .wmv but again it sounded the same. Is this degradation just an unavoidable part of the encoding process, or is there something that can be done to improve the audio quality? I notice that DVD Flick offers a choice of bit rates for audio. Will that make any difference? Thanks.
