I've tried so many times, it's only 1 hour long avi, but I've had a variety of results eg, too big to fit on a DVD, tried DVD Shrink, and other stuff but wouldn't work, so obtained another version of the avi and the result of this one was no sound, jerky pic, jumping sections and so on, have put the avi into gspot and some of the settings look a bit odd to me (given my very limited knowledge and experience) as follows:-
aspect ration is 1.379
resolution is 640 x 464
frame type says 87,791 frames
average bit rate says 1072 kbps
gop length says 248.6 avg, 250 max
Audio says 0 x 0055 MPEG -1 Layer 3
speed says 48,000Hz, 64kb/s tot joint stereo
This is one avi in a set of 30, most have converted and burned to DVD with no problem but this and one other will not work. I've tried them in all sorts of software but nothing seems to work. It appears from the above settings that there is a problem but the various guides on After Dawn don't appear to cover this problem.
Can anybody give me a pointer to where I should go with this please?
