Burn ISO To DVD Issues....

When I backup dvds,I always rip with Anydvd, Shrink with DVDShrink,Then I have the output set to create a ISO,Then I burn the iso to dvd useing Cyberlink Power2Go. Its burns the ISO and I have my backup..What my problem seems to be is,Some of my backups play fine,(They start rite up) in my dvd player...Then some have trouble "Starting up" in my dvd player. They play,But sometimes i have to insert the disc 2 or 3 times for it too (Startup) (Read it) At first...
So my question is...When I burn My Dvds from a ISO Backup,Useing Power2Go,is that any different than say, Useing Nero Recode..It is a Bit different,as in the way the files are processed...
Im just curious,are my backups any different from useing one way or another...Because its funny how some dvds Start rite up in my player and some dont.
Im useing Verbatim DataLife Plus Dvds and Branded Verbatim 16x Dvds...I Always burn at half the speed,and my target size is set to 4300 (Just to be safe)
My dvd player is just a cheap Magnavox dvd player,Do you think that might be the issue,the player...

PS..The Backups do seem to play fine in another Memorex Dvd player i also have in the house...
Im just curious really if the way im backing up my dvds make them less compatible or something....
Kinda like useing the wrong media,Youll regret it in the long run,I Just Dont want all my backups to play in 1 player yet play in nothing else lateron lol.

Your Burner is maybe getting old.....
Helps: Better Media, Low burn Speed, etc.
But also downgrade from: DVD+R to DVD-R....then form DVD+RW to DVD-RW wich this last one is the last leg of your burner life.
Other options: Remplace your burner for a new one, have diff burners or get a external Burner ($35 to $150).

Well im pretty sure its not DVD Burner issues,My Notebook is New..I Just Bought it back in January. Its a New Hp DV6 Notebook.

well the dvds play fine..im just having a hard time getting the dvd player to recognize them..Im thinking its the dvd player..im pretty sure its not my burner or my laptop,because the copys come out perfect,and when they play in the player,they play very well...all im trying too find out really is...when i burn my dvds from a image like "ISo"..is it different than burning it with a program like nero recode....Does it make the dvds more incompatiable or is there no difference.

It depends of your Burner Program set-up......If you still using the original default; you shoulbe ok with any Burn Program like DVD Decrypter, ImgBurn, Nero, DVD Clone, etc.
The problem could be your DVD Player, but if you have problems only with some DVD you burn and not with all.....then it could be your Burner.
Like I say: You need to down grade your DVD Blank's or buy an Externel Burner (LG run around $35 to $60 or any other).

Thanks for you help...Your the only one who really replied back..So thank you...
and ive pretty much figured its the player because i tried the dvd again and it started rite up and played fine today....
Its a cheap dvd player soo i cant expect too much
=)

Today I just change the old burner (it was on his last leg, burning only DVD-RW, that's it) on my lap-top for a new one.....the funny thing is that it was so simple to remplace it (one screew that release it)....firts time I do this ($25).
