I am using Windows XP and have Nero 9 Reloaded. I have been trying to burn a file that I downloaded from Graboid.com.It is Alvin and the Chipmunks, and it is an avi. What do I have to do to make it watchable on my dvd player. The disc that I burned won't play.I keep getting a message to eject the disc--Playback feature may not be available on this disk. Can avi be converted to another format so it can be watchable on my tv?Thanks for any help. jim q

You need to use Nero Vision to convert to DVD, however, I would instead recommend DVD Flick, instead of bloated Nero 9.

You can also use convertxDVD4. It will transfer almost anything into DVD. I use it on my home movies. I create them in AVI and then change them to DVD to record. It works. There probably is something else that is better but I can take my snapshots, add titles and music using PhotoStory 3 for Windows and then turn them into DVD with ConvertXDVD4.
I can bet that the real experts on this forum know an easier way but this works for me.
