HP DVD Writer 740b plz help tried DVD+ and - media log inside

hey peeps. I'm new here but have been a fan of this site for a while and learned a lot of good info here. anyway my HP 740b stopped burning DVDs recently and I'm wondering if it's something fixable or the drive needs replacing. I've tried burning with Nero 7 and 9, Imgburn (which will make CDRs fine) and it will copy with Smartripper. Just not burn. Here's a log:

the new firmware fixed it, thank you!!!!!
so weird, I dont think that firmware was on the HP support page(?)
