I was using a program called ZCAVItoDVDcreator that offered a 3 trial user that worked and when directed to the site to purchase this I receive virus pop-ups and warning from the mcafee site advisor this is a bad site , so can anyone recommend any free programs that will burn an avi directly to disc because nero ultra 6 wont do this and gives a pop-up " incompatible file found even when trying to burn the file as an mp3 dics , and dvdflick will burn the file to disc and when watching it on tv it skips and freezes all throughout , so there has to be a better free program other then tyring to make an iso or video ts and then burn it disc . I know imgburn can do this with avi files , but I have problems understanding the program .

DVD FLICK HAS ALWAYS WORKED 100% OF THE TIME FOR ME.
http://www.dvdflick.net/ IS THE DOWNLOAD SITE, AND IT IS FREE,
ALTHOUGH THEY ENCOURAGE DONATIONS, WHICH IS WORTH A CONTRIBUTION.

I agree DVD Flick is the way to Go and like Rescue said it's free and easy to use.

If It skips and freezes when played back it could be due to Poor Media
Or Burning at a Too high of a burn speed. Try 1/2 the rated speed of your Blank disc.
Burning too close to the edge of the Blank disc might cause skips.
it might be all Three.

Probably nothing out there is better Than Flick Anyway.

Get Familiar with the Guide at DVD Flick s Home Page.

convert X is not free, it is a trial

and to add to barryone, when you are converting or burning don't multi task, let the program run by itself and use all the resources it needs to. This could also be your problem.

Open your "Mind"......Hope you know that they are hundres of others web-sites all over the world, that offer free software.

You just sound like AZORES88 that send poeple to a web-site that "Encorage Donations", wherever !!!

Now my question for you is:
How do you feel if a "DVDShrink-web-site X" encorage donations or even try to sell you something that you know is free or you can get it for free ?

Everybody love the word "FREE".....and since the www. is Free Thanks God, "We the people" we have the right to choose !!!

Good luck with your Money !

AZORES88 - We don't disagree about your sentiments about DVD Flick, just the inappropriate way in which you told us.

Mrguss - Our minds are open, that doesn't mean we need you to tell us about pirated software. And no doubt you'll also think you're correct in typing what you did.
