Has anyone else noticed that in residential areas there seems to be more and more BT OpenZone hotspots popping up?

My Neighbour just got BT Internet and as soon as she turned on her router up popped the hotspot as well as the BSSID of the network she configured in the router,

BT OpenZone is not encrypted with WEP/WPA etc and redirects to a login and payment.

We set an IP compatible with the range she configured and it allowed me to see her computers, that is if I wanted to connect to her configured network I needed to enter the WPA sequence and then it was as expected, if I connected to her new OpenZone Hotspot and then manually configure an IP etc I could see her network -

Seems this is a huge secruity hole in the system, it allows a back door into the private network,

Anyone else seen this ?
