I was wondering if it is possible or easy to build a digital movie player from spare computer parts. I have hacked my wii to play digital movies, however I desire more players in other rooms and can't justify the $100+ price tag for said players. All it is is software to read the movies from a drive and transmit through audio/video cables. Shouldn't one be able to build a player out of parts? Just a thought, I'd be happy to try. Has anyone done this or have other suggestions? thanks
