Cyberhome DVR1200 Sound Issue

I know this is an older machine, but I still use it. I have two subjects: First, the no-disc problem is caused by an open 10 microfarad capacitor in the power supply. Guaranteed to fix that problem.

Second, the warbly sound when playing back a DVD and the hum (actually a tone) in the tuner mode is my current problem. Having searched many forums, I find that there is both a front-end and back-end firmware upgrade that fixes this problem, except I can't find those files. Anyone there help on this??
