I've bought 2 ipcams (MayGion V3) and followed all the instruction to set them up. I'm able to see the image within the house network (all pc's, laptop and mobile phones works). But once I'm using an external network i.e mobile phone network with android app (ipcam lite) or office pc, I just can't access to the login page!!!
My house network setup is like this:-
Service Provider ADSL (modem with wifi) connect to Dlink wifi router via WAN port (Lan cable) and connect the ipcams off the Dlink router.
Step 1 : IPcam configuration
Initial I've used the CD provided to locate the ipcam IP address (192.168.0.103 with Port 81)and configured the settings (changed user name and password).
The DDNS provider is: iview.hk (default)
Dynamic DNS is: ah8310.iview.hk
Status: Success
Saved and logout
Step 2: Dlink Router Port Forwarding
Advance setting tab - Port Forwarding - entered IP address 192.168.0.103, Port 81 for public and private and Traffic type is any. Click save and reboot router.
Step 3: Mobile phone testing 1 (using house wifi network)
Download IPcam lite, selected ipcam make, entered IP address 192.168.0.103, port 81 with username and password.
Yes, work and able to see image.
Mobile phone testing 2 (using mobile data network)
Used the same setting as above.
No, don't work, unable to see image within the app. It says (Could not connect to given Hostnam/IP and Port).
Office PC testing
Used MS IE and entered:-
Http://ah8310.iview.hk no webpage found, website down etc...
I've viewed many many web sites and pages, tried many suggestions i.e -
1) disable upnp within IPcam
2) use DMZ (with above IP)
