a few weeks ago i heard of alteriwnet(free mw2 online)so i dowmloaded i and played it(i thought it was normal to play it).a week ago when i was playing normally the game closed then a white chat box appeard.the word FBI was written beside the speaker.(not lying this is the truth).He knew what country i lived in,what was my windows uesrname,even the car we own.he told me to delete mw2 as well as any cracks or downloaded songs.he said if i did not he would make a case out of it.
was that really the FBI?and if yes how do i know if they are watching my computer or not because that guy returned to days in a row?
plz advice,plz no silly comments.this is really serious.

your computer has most likely been hacked by a neighbor. are you connected wired or wireless?

my computer is wired connected.but in my house there is two other laptops using wireless.

was not the fbi but a local hacker. get yourself a better firewall for your computer. can try the free version of zonealarm on the leftside of this link. http://www.zonealarm.com/security/en-us/trialpay-za-signup.htm

ok thanks for help but i need to ask more questions.
1)are u sure 100 percent it was not the FBI(the guy knew a lot of information)
2)what exactly is the zonealarm(is it internet security?)
3)is it okay to play alteriwnet again?

you would have had a phone call(unlikely) or a personel visit from them. you have been hacked by a neighbor which would explain the car info. zonealarm is internet security.

i live in egypt so the visit or phonecall are unlikely.that is what making me worry.

if you are in egypt then the fbi can't touch you so don't worry about it. as for alteriwnet that is up to you as i don't use it nor have i used it.
