ok checked the router it appeared WPA wasnt on but it is now and ive changed the password.my internet still cut out a couple of time so i clicked system log and it says quick bridge not allow mutichannel and quick bridge stop.says it about 7 times and say last error log repeated 72 times.does that mean someone was trying to connect to my router ???

nopee it doesn't mean someone was trying to connect, and if someone is trying to connect it shouldn't be kicking you off
Does the light on your router go off when your disconnected?
If it does it could be a bad line or other physical wire to your home
link
but this doesn't seem to be the only cause for this problem

yes the light goes off when it disconnects.havnt considered it could be a bad line might have to call housing trust social worker and see if he can get it checked.is there a simple way i can check it myself???the links were interesting other people having the exact same problem as me.thanx for the links and advice.

not off the top of my head.can try asking my brothers and sister what router they use.
edit:alright my mum contacted my ISP as payment is coming off her credit card and not mine and she has a homephone and i dont.apparently the phone line is fine but they have a record of me disconnecting at odd times.gotta get credit for my mobile and ring them on monday and they will see if they can fix the problem.
