I am wondering if watching movies online is the same as downloading them? I mean is it illegal to watch them?

As long as you do not share the file then you will be ok. As far as watching the movie online you will still be ok as you do not posses the file.

Thanks I will be 60 in May and don't want to get in serious trouble at this age. I love movies and its my best entertainment. God knows I rent alot and have joined Netflix but its amazing how many movies are garbage. At least at http://dovy-tv.net/movies/ you caan take a look and if its garbage you just pick another. I rented 3 movies last week at jumbo and they were all garbage

You might want to try reading reviews. It makes buying/renting legally a lot easier to take
