Just browsin and saw you are having the same problem I have. Even when I replaced my laser on my V3 PS2 I still couldn't get the Swap Magic DVD to load, just kept giving me DRE. The CD version loads fine though and all games I own, even DVD-9 games, work. I know my Swap Magic DVD worked on a V7 ps2 when i tested it on it though, so I think its the old V3 PS2's that just can't read it for whatever reason.
