don't ever pay for freemcboot
that is why it is called free
there are people who will install it for free if you send them your memory card

you should remove the link to the site selling them
they will hopefully be shut down soon

I do Custom Free McBoot install. You must have a memorycard and pay for shipping. Unless you want a CD-R for Free McBoot. PM for more Info.

I got one of those mem cards it works but not on all games. Not really worth it. I installed a matrix mod chip myself and it plays most games. Rather get your ps2 chipped it's worth it. Worst case in the future you might need to upgrade your lazer. Mem card mod sux.

You can also run back ups off a usb hard drive with free mcboot
(1) Get free Mcboot installed
(2) Get a USB Hard Drive(any size) and format it fat32
(3) Download -Open Ps2 Loader- and copy it to your usb hard drive
(4) Configure Free McBoot to launch -Open Ps2 Loader-
(5) Download USB Extreme Win32 utility(PC) and use it to rip your ps2 games to your usb hard drive
(6) plug the usb hard drive into your ps2's usb port
(7) launch -open ps2 loader- and launch what ever game you want to play.

Hard Drives can load games a lot faster than a disc drive can. Plus you can play both cd based games and dvd based games off it.

This way you can keep all your games on the hard drive and not have to use discs. Your Ps2 Laser will also last longer since you would not be using it to read games.

How do i make a cd game into a dvd game. My software won't copy to dvd if it's smaller than 700mb
