Okay, I'm having a bit of trouble with this one..
I use Alcohol 120% to burn my game backups and with alcohol the file must be an iso. I use ESR to boot my games and in order to patch the games with ESR it must also be an iso file. BUT.. Some games have a dummy file, so I use "isobuster" to take the files from the iso backup of my game and replace the dummy files. SO.. My problem is, I can't patch the iso for ESR after I replace the dummy file using isobuster because isobuster just gives you all the files within the iso making it.. not an iso.. just a folder with files.
How do I go about replacing my dummy files while also having my backup patched for ESR?

I've never had any issues with dummy files. I recommend you just use IMGburn to create images of the games from the disc, then simply patch them and burn to DVD-R.

But if you need to edit the contents of an ISO for whatever reason, just extract everything off the ISO with isobuster, then edit, then use IMGburn to create an ISO using the main folder containing all the contents of the edited ISO data.

I had to do this to convert a CD game to DVD.
