I just finished installing a Duo3 Ultra into my V2 (Motherboard: GH004) "Fat" PS2 and I'm having a few problems. First, I cannot get the system to play PS1 backups. The disk will post as a "Playstation Disk" under the browser, but if selected, the screen goes black while it tries to load and it will either hang indefinitely or switch to the red insert real Playstation disk screen. The next problem is when I play a Japanese NTSC game (Taiko Drum Master specifically) the ingame video quality is very poor.

I have triple check all wires and checked for any solder bridges but have not found any. Also should there be a a LED on the modchip that lights up when the system turns on? Additionally, I checked if the modchip was getting the correct amount of voltage and it consistently draws 3.3 to 3.4V.

If anyone wants to see any specific pictures of the install please let me know and I'll post them ASAP.

Burning Process Used:

-Alcohol 120%
-Protection set to "Playstation"
-Burn Speed 4x (have also tried 8x, 16x, and "Maximum")
-Media Memorex 700MB 52x
