ez flash issue

i have an ez flash v wit an 1.90 beta 11 update .i have the cheat codes for action replay and all that stuff but i tryed over 10 differenet games and nothin works.i got my codes and stuff from gbatemp.net pretty much everything they got there i took it. on the screen it shows the codes and everything but when its time to play it doesnt work.the game cuts on but nothin happens. can anything give some advice?
