FFX PAL Help!

OK so I got an issue. My copy of FFX PAL has a scratch, not a horrible one but I want to copy it just in case as replacing it is a PITA since I'm in the U.S. I am running into some serious issues trying to make a copy. I have used DVD Decrypter, BlindWrite, Ashampoo, and others to try to make a copy of it. Each time I do when I put it in my PS2 and use Magic Swap it will boot up fine but its totally unplayable. It scrolls constantly and is in black and white. I have looked around and it seems this has happened to a few others. My question is this; I would love a step by step method of burning a copy of this game from a ISO and have it run in a U.S. PS2. I am a newb at this stuff so please explain in layman's terms. I have already wasted like 10 DVD's. Thank you very much!
