Having issue with a NRG file

Basically having trouble playing a game that was originally formatted as a NRG file from Nero and I can't get it to play on my chipped (Modbo 4) PS2. Tried Imgburn, renaming, converting it, and of course tried using Nero again to put it back onto a disc but have had no success.

The only thing I am left with is getting one of the discs that didn't work and writing them onto a PC again as an ISO, which I doubt will work (and prefer not to use anyother disc on it, even though they are cheap, already used 5).

Anyone able to help?
