HdAdvance DVD OK CD black screen. Help !!!!!!

I just received a set of HdAdvance 3.0 disk. The DVD works OK. The CD when I insert it into the ps2 just gives me a blank screen. Is there anyway I could be doing something wrong? This is the third set of these I have owned.

I have put these in my computer and used windows explorer. The DVD pulls up all files it has no name when I insert it. The CD pulls up files also but when I click on four folders it also pulls up files under them however there are two folders(ICONS & ADS) when I click on them it locks up my computer. I have to go to task manager to get out of it. Also the name of it is CRAZY_TAXI.

Any help or advise will be greatly appreciated.

That is correct how they will act on your computer as they are hard pressed PS2 discs and encrypted.

As for your PS2, maybe it has trouble reading CD's

If you don't want too replace the discs again, then just install fmcb 1.8 to your memory card using your HDAdvance discs

Thanks for the info. I tried the disk on another PS2 and both of them worked on it. I thought if the PS2 worked on DVD then it worked on CD, guess I was wrong.

Most PS2 will read DVD better /or easier than CD, especially the older PS2

And the PS2 can work on DVD but not CD, or other way around depending upon how weak the laser is getting.

Sometimes just a cleaning of the laser fixes it

Well at least you know both discs are good since you tried it on another PS2.
