How to play ntsc game on pal (tv is also pal)

hi there!
i m from india
i have ps2 v5 ,and there is a problem that
i do not have any lence in my ps2
so i install iso in hdd (of any ps2 dvd)
with a sotware called(windows hdl intallation programe)
and then play games but some games
do not run (they are intalled in hdd but
when i tried to play the screen goes black
and nothing comes) is this ntsc-pal problem?
and also i want to know that how to find out
that my ps2 console is pal or nasc?

one more thing my tv is pal for this i have bought a ntsc-pal or pal-ntsc
converter(becouse i my self do not know is my
ps2 console pal or ntsc) so can i play those games in my ps2 ?
is it possible?
