So I had to remove the tray close sensors, it's a really long story but there was basically nothing else I could do because I ruined them, so now I have to solder them so it thinks the tray is always closed now. Unfortunately I've been trying around a lot with pieces of metal to complete the circuit trying to get it to at least make the disc spin, but I don't think I'm doing something right because I don't know which points I need to connect etc. So if anyone could grab these pics or something and show me which points I need to solder where I would GREATLY appreciate that, thanks again, Zach.

UPDATE: After trying tin foil, when I make contact with both the sensors on the front switch and all 4 on the area shown, my red light goes off on the ps2, like it just cuts off all of the power, it cannot be turned on when the connections are made, but when I disconnect one of em I get power again, but it's no use cause the disc tray wont close still.

Thanks a bunch man, do you have any idea about the points on the other picture? I've tried seemingly every combo and when I make a good connection on those points and the two points you showed me on the other part of the console my red power light turns off and I can't turn the console on. Good news is I already ordered a new power reset switch board because I think that may be the problem.

Sorry no, I don't
I am sure your new power reset switch should fix it, once you get it.
You just need to put 'sticky tack' or tissue in that spot to block that sensor, or buy the Swap Tools V4 pro and use Tool A link

Hi there. Do as smokyrain suggested you, solder contacts on the motherboard and change the power reset board with a new one.
