As the title says, I want to learn how to hex edit files. I want to change their file signature to a common format like rar or mp3. Any advice?


P.S. No conversion site or conversion software please.

what a retard.. you can't hex edit a file from one format to another.. certainly not an iso to a rar or ANY other type of file.. the header will not match the data type so it will be corrupt or crash.. if you are lucky and it isn't read as a bad set of executable instructions and you get a puff of smoke.

use google.. because hex editing is TOTALLY off the remit of this site.
