maybe Noob question...SNES or Mcboot from cdr?

so yea, i got this slim ps2 for $10, took to lifting half the lid straight up with a set of pliers, blocked a couple sensors, and started doing the ps1 swap trick at logo.

i have also try'ed putting a Nes on this thing and it was surprisingly easy thanks to whoever put that together.

so my question is can i do the same thing with the snes?
just burn the image and swap like i do the Nes?
or do i need to go through some sort of boot?
and if so could i get get a boot or something installed or working using the swap disc and a cdr?

thanks in advance, new to messin with the ps2, so sorry for anything noobish.
