NTSC games on PAL TV question

Ok so I have a slim ps2 and swap magic. All works fine but that's besides the point

Basically I wanted to play Chrono Cross and thought I'd burn it to a CD and run it on my PS2 instead of on the PC emulator for a change. Now getting it to boot etc is all fine but the fact that Chrono Cross is NTSC and I'm sure it was only released in NTSC areas. When I play it on my PAL TV I get a huge black area on the lower of the screen and the game runs wayy slower. Is there a way I can somehow convert the region of the game (the raw file) and burn it again? Any tips on how to remedy this problem would be greatly appreciated

Nope sorry you can't just convert an NTSC game to PAL

It is basically if your TV supports NTSC along with PAL, or you using a RGB-to-SCART cable if your TV supports it.

hmmm I used a tool called Pal4U and I converted it to PAL and it works fine. Plays full speed and in colour, with no black line

Well yes you can patch NTSC backups to play on PAL tv.

I could have told you that.

I was thinking you were asking is there someway to totally convert the region.

They do have those adapters/converters that you can play Pal on Ntsc and so forth. I think they are like 40 bucks.
