I know PS2 is an outdated platform but i am having some trouble. Please help. Here is the problem, my favorite game was Grand Theft Auto San Andreas, but i had lost it years ago, so i just bought a new copy. I had the game saved from 2 years ago when i last played it. When i brought the new copy home, and tried to load it, the screen shows: "Load Failed: Save game not compatible with this version of Grand Theft Auto San Andreas. Now restarting game." It restarts from the beginning. Keep in mind i am still using the older PS2, not the slim. Thank you for any help and any fixes.

It's probably because the game you had before was from the different region than one you got now.
you can still get it to work..but I don't have time to explain now. If you are interested then reply..
grand theft auto:san andreas was originally released uncencored then they made a cencored version.might be a different version or even different region.
