i have a PS2 model SCPH-70001 and i dont know what CD's and DVD's i should use for backups it says on the playstation support page that my PS2 supports the following media

PlayStation®2 format DVD-ROM
PlayStation®2 format CD-ROM
PlayStation® format CD-ROM
Audio CDs
DVD Videos
DVD-R/DVD-RW/DVD+R/DVD+RW2
CDR/CDRW2

does this mean that either -R or +R would be fine for backups.

im new to all this so thanks for your help with my problem.

I use dvd-r's and cd-r and burned them at 4x speed.

PSP = 3000 model , 5.03 GEN-C (OFW as of now)
