Hey guys,

I want to run NES and SNES emulators on my PS2.

Question 1: What are the best emulators for SNES/NES that work on the PS2

Question 2: Can I run them off HD loader?

question 3: Do NES/SNES games run well on the PS2 or are there compatibility issues?

Yes you can run them from your hdd.

I have in the past or from USB or DVD

FCEUltra I think is best for NES, but I could be wrong.

And for Snes I use snes hdd station. I mostly only played Mario, so couldn't tell you much on other compatibility.

1 - There's no such thing as the best. It's all practically the same.
2 - No you can not emulate games via HDLoader.
3 - NES runs fine, 75% of SNES games will lag.

All you need to do is, partition your HDD using PS2OS (if that's still around) or HDD Manager (if that's still around) and name the partition ROM. Create a directory in that partition and name it NES or SNES or whatever's easy for you. Transfer all ROM's to their directory via uLaunch. Launch emulator and select ROM's from - HDD0 > ROM > XXXXX (where XXXXX is the name of your directory).
