SoftMOD NIGHTMARE!!!!

I started trying to soft mod over a week ago along with tons of research on my fat ps2. I downloaded inde comp. 3.0 along with ps2 save builder 0.8. Everything is working good but, I cant get the independence compiler to complete. It stops at converting to XPS format. What is that? Why am I having problems? Please help.

What game are you using for the exploit and what region are you in?

The independance exploit is ancient...it worked OK, but not great...and you needed a PS1 disk and a working laser to use it. You are better off going the FMCB route...no PS1 disk needed; my PS2 is using FMCB...and I don't even have a dvd reader attached to the mainboard!
