Hi there, I'm totally new to the modding scene, and I wanted to get Forbidden Siren 2 (Which is a PAL only game, I have a US PS2 Slim)
Well after some research into it, I bought the game, a swap top, and Swap Magic 3.8.
After doing a bit more research, I also used electrical tape to tape down the three switches.
When I boot up the swap magic disc, it works fine, but when I go to "Normal boot" and switch to the Siren game, it takes me to the PS2 menu and says to insert a correct disc.
When I try the "Special boot", the disc spins for a bit as if loading, then stops, and the screen remains black.
Am I doing something wrong? I've opened up my PS2 quite a few times, and it's a pain in the ass to get the screws back in correctly all the way, so I really don't want to if I don't have to..
I've looked around alot, and there are no SIMPLE guides as to what to do, so I'd REALLY appreciate the help, don't want to have spent 60$+ on all the items for nothing.
3.8 isn't great.. 3.6 is the last one I have experience of any kind with.. but I think it's not the problem... you have one of the 25% or so of games I guess it doesn't work with
