I downloaded a torrent of Swapmagic, which is now stored on my computer as a .rar, but I'm clueless as to which file I'm supposed to burn onto the DVD. There are folders with the names "SwapMagic CD v3.6" and "SwapMagic DVD v3.6" each containing an ISO with the same name and a corresponding .ELF file. There's also another .rar within the folder called "SWAPMAGIC MC-USB BOOT.rar". in THAT folder there's an ISO called "PS2.ISO".

According to the tutorial, I'm supposed to burn the files onto a DVD or CD... problem is, which files? Do I do the CD ISO or the DVD ISO depending on which type of disk I'm using to perform the burn? Or do I do the PS2.ISO? Do I do multiple/all of the files? How?

I'm using ImgBurn as my file burning software.

you cant use a burned copy of that software to play burned games. swapmagic needs to be a original pressed disc for it to work as intended. here is a list of places to get them.

Why is that? Will the program simply not load on the PS2 unit (red screen, "Please insert a PS or PS2 format disc") unless its the original pressed disc?

thats is the way swapmagic works aswell as every other game.. anyways if you have one of the other softwares listed at http://freemcboot.info/ on the installation dropdown you can install freemcboot and use openps2loader and esr to load game backups.
