I just got a japanese game and started playing it on a US ps2.
It worked fine, but suddenly, I got a scene/event with the loading screen, and started hearing clicking noise in/on the ps2 and the game stopped loading and stopped completely.
The CD was rotating, the laser was moving up and down but I heard noises so I had to take out the CD.
I thought the clicking noise came out if I played copyed games, but real ps2 games?? That's a problem...
If anyone has a similar problem or knows what to do, please tell me...
My ps2 is SCPH-75001. It played almost all of my backup dvd games, but it just stops for this imported japanese game...
I didn't find any problems with imported games so I thought it would be fine..
I used to use SM 3.8 and I never could get import games to work with it.
The only way I found was to make a backup of the import game, then run it with the Swap Magic.
