Using a US PS2 in the UK

Tried searching and googling, but I'm sure someone must have answered this before!

I have an old PS2* from the USA and would like to use it in the UK.

Questions:

Can I use a normal UK to USA adapter or do I need one that alters the Hertz and/or voltage? Where can I find one?

Will it work with a british TV? If not, what adapter do I need?

I have some games from the USA but also want to play UK games on it. Can I do this?

Appraciate answers or links to! :D

never tryed with an american playstation but ive used a super nintendo that was ntsc in australia and it worked through a normal adapter.With the tv if you have ntsc compatable mode or a setting to use the tv on ntsc it will work.otherwise the picture might come out in black and white.as for playing games from uk on it,you may need a modchip or softmod.
