Hello All,

I'm trying to copy a ps2 game on a dvd I've tried using Dvd Dcrypter and also ImgBurn. I don't own Nero but do own CD Creator 10.

Nevertheless when I try to copy an image from my ps2 disk and try it on my ps2 player it tells me that it either "cannot read disk" or put in a playstation format disk in.

For the record I'm new to ps2 copying.... and already up to 5 cupholders.

What am I doing wrong...?

Did you mod coz it sounds like it's not,if you have then creating an iso with imgburn then burning iso & placing in the PS2 should work, well it will if it has a mod chip & assuming you set the burn to DVD-ROM not that it matters with later consoles tho i set it that way anyway

when no one has replied use the edit icon to the right of the post to add more instead of double posting

No fab is no good for this issue, imgburn should do the job

Mod is short for modified, you need to either do a soft mod (swap magic or memory card exploit or such like) or hard mod (mod chip-requires soldering)to play backups of any game

without one or the other it will be a waste of
time

EDIT: Me personally i prefer hardmod option as it requires no fluffing around with swapping & other sorts of carry on,with a hardmod just place the newly created disc in & run PS2 simple as,the downside to chipping (hardmod) is it's more expensive

This is all that can help with if you need info on soft modding or hard moddding use the forum search just below the tabs at the top of page there'll be tutorials or info about either method or look under the GUIDES tab

Just google "free mc boot" or go to sksapps.com No need to spend money on a modchip and installation when free mc boot is free, and better than most mod chips.
