Help w/ Sony Handycam HDR-XR200V

Hello all, I'm new to AfterDawn.com, I was hoping that I could get a little help from you all.

I just got my Handycam and I was wondering about a few things..

1: How can I take the M2TS file and convert it to something my computer can play(besides the sony program) and still be in HD??

2: When I convert the M2TS file will I be able to upload to youtube and other places in HD?? Like the little "watch in HD" button, will that be available for my file?

3: Best setup for Quality?? Currently my Handycam is setup to record in HD FH, to my knowledge this is the best to use for quality, is their anything else I can do to improve quality? Focus Settings or anything?

I hope someone can help me, Id really like to learn all I can about all of this.
