I was at best buy looking at purchasing a new cam corder. When I talked to the guy there I asked about video quality when transfered to a dvd he said that a regular hdd camcorder would be like vcr quality, but wouldn't look that bad on a tv smaller than 32 inches. He said that a high def would give better quality when on a tv bigger than 32 inches, which I agree. My question is has what is every ones else opion on this. I have an older high def projection tv thats 57 inches and I'm afraid I wont be happy with the quality from a regular hdd camcorder. The new high def camcorders do 1080 and I believe my tv on goes to 720. Any help would be appreciated

HD gets my vote...
You already have the big TV - why bother with SD at this point?
