i just burned doom 3 on to a dvd it burned at 2x, but when i played it the intro kept skipping and when i tryed to use dvd 2 xbox it was copying at .31mbs why? could it be because my harddrive is fragmented and it carryed over to the dvd?

not likely.. more probably just a bad disk.. you need good G05 dye 8x disks for the antique dvd drives..

Try burning with a better disk such as Verbatim.
