I have an Opticum 9600HD mini which takes this type of file and I have downloaded a new channel list today. Am not home at the moment mate but I will try it this evening and let you know if it is correct for the channel list. It's one file but the uploader mentioned just choose the channel list and not the upgrade firmware when loading.
You can try it (at your own risk!) if you don't want to wait for me to try first? Let me know if you do and if it's good!

The box I am updating is the Edison Argus Combo, it uses the same chan file type as you mention, but does your file above contain a firmware update also for the Opticum? Just dont want to brick this box or do you have a file with chan data/favs seperate? In ABS format? cheers

I did get one and tried it, but the box says the Bootloader is different, so I reckon its a manual jobby for me, if I had a chan editor that works on ABS file types would be half the hassles.
EDIT - Found one I can use, it allows you to edit .ABS files, but when I look at the file I took from the Edison, the writing is all gobbly crap, but when I look at other chan files I picked up, they are all readable! god damn it

Don't know why that double posted. I notice my box takes .abs as firmware and .cha as channel list. Going to have to do a proper one myself with one of the editors I have.
This is what I'll be using for my .cha.

Have seen elsewhere someone mention that they renamed their abs to cha and opened it with channel editor then renamed it back to abs and uploaded to box and that worked. Maybe try that also with a copy of your abs?
